GM Genuine Parts Engine Intake Manifolds are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. The primary function of the intake manifold is to evenly distribute the combustion mixture (or just air in a direct injection engine) to each intake port in the cylinder head(s). It may also serve as a mount for the carburetor, throttle body, fuel injectors and other components of the engine. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).
